GOOD Morning Britain’s Adil Ray dropped his biggest hint yet that he has signed up to this year’s Strictly Come Dancing during an interview with professional dancer Neil Jones today.
The 46-year-old star’s co-host Ranvir Singh repeatedly referenced reports that Adil would be on the BBC One dance show ahead of the chat, and the presenter himself only added fuel to the fire.
During the interview with 38-year-old Neil, Adil insisted that he was only asking “generally” as he enquired whether it’d be “acceptable” for the celebs taking part to get some training beforehand.
He said: “If a celeb was doing it, is it acceptable to do some pre-show training?”
Neil replied: “It’s fine, I personally like a complete beginner, no bad habits – it’s a lot easier to dance with someone like that.
“If you can get some practice in, do it.”
Adil looked flustered as he quickly hit back: “You’re speaking generally, obviously!”
Earlier in the chat, there were more hints as Ranvir enthusiastically pointed to her co-host while asking Neil: “Do you know who the celebrities are?”
While Adil sheepishly tried to fight back a smile, Neil explained: “Normally we find out when you find out, we will be in rehearsals and it’s all coming out.
“And then we’re like: ‘How tall’s this person? Where do they live? What’s going to happen?’ We have no idea!”
Unable to resist teasing viewers, Adil quickly answered: “Well I’m 5ft 9in.”

Wrapping up the interview, Ranvir then told Neil: “Go easy on Adil, won’t you? When he’s training.”
The Sun Online have contacted Strictly reps for comment.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Neil explained the health and safety measures Strictly are putting in place to make sure the show will go on amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
He shared: “They’re working really hard, trying to do everything they can.
“We are getting ready to go into rehearsals, actually lockdown again, to make sure we’re all isolated.

“We [the professional dancers] are going to have a couple of weeks on our own just to make sure we’re all good and get tested, then we will be locking down in a hotel for that period of time.”
And the flame-haired hunk insisted that the dancers were actually looking forward to spending autumn in a hotel together, explaining: “We all used to compete and a lot of the time we’d be in hotels and it’d just be the dancers together.
“So it’s actually kind of exciting and it’s something we’d like to do every year.”
In addition to Adil, other celebrities rumoured to be taking part in this year’s Strictly include Maya Jama, Maura Higgins, Stacey Solomon, and Jack P Shepherd.
